Pets Are People Too!

my sheperd needs help.

my dog has been chewing a hole in his back just before his tail.us he has really bad dandruff. what do i do. went to vet. they said just put oil in his food. that did not help. it hurts me to watch him eat himself. please help us.

Comment by nikki bruce on February 10, 2010 at 12:30pm: my yr old shepard has the same thing. now he is moving up the spine to another a place. also has developed a bad odor that a bath only solves for a day or two.. can't afford a vet. found anything that helps?

Comment by Ener on January 28, 2010 at 2:11pm: It sounds like he may have a skin allergy or maybe some walking dandruff. Try a treatment for that, I would not think that oil in the food would help, but at least you can rule that out now. I hope this helps.
